The property was everything I was hoping for. It was beautiful, quiet, peaceful. But what we loved most was the amazing and hospitable staff that was so friendly, and eager to make us happy at any time day or night. We really loved the uniqueness of the bungalows and appreciated the natural beauty. We did NOT want to stay in a conventional high-rise hotel - and Ocho was the perfect blend of luxury with natural beauty. Very convenient and could walk to all of the great restaurants!

Superb facilities, lovely staff and a hotel with a very cool vibe about it! Beach bar with a live dj playing beach house at sunset! Amazing breakfast and Pablo who served us was super cool!

Absolutely beautiful property conveniently located on the beach where boat tours depart. The location is also walking distance to restaurants, shops and nightlife. The staff is absolutely top notch! Everyone was so nice and helpful. Zula helped us plan the most amazing events!!!

We stayed at Ocho a few weeks ago and I'm still dreaming of it. It was by far the best spot on the beach and I loved the manager's dj play lists and even shazamed them so I could save them! Very chill vibe on the beach and really a perfect location there and then literally a 3 min walk to town. There was also a very cool food truck park right behind and I wish we wouldve ate there more! The bungalows are fantastic with so much charm and rich CR wood. We just loved everything about it. The staff was fantastic... Gio was by far our fav and even saw us out one night. He was so fun and attentive. There was a lady behind the bar that was very bubbly and friendly and another waitress (curly hair) that was so sweet. The food was fantastic, the pool was under utilized by us and everyone really but was very nice and peacefull. the front desk ladies always had good suggestions and were very friendly as well. I would highly recommend staying here and can't wait to come back.

The location of this property is second to none. It has an upscale yet bohemian vibe. The food was always delicious with lot's of options. Also many gluten-free choices. The staff was always available and helpful whenever we needed them. This is a very unique property with amazing room options. Highly recommended.

Stunning place to stay! Our room was gorgeous, staff greeted us by name and made sure we had everything we could need. The beach was a 30 second walk from our bungalow. Absolutely wish to stay here again next time I'm in the area.

Our stay at this beachfront bungalow in Tamarindo was absolutely magical! 🌺 It was the perfect romantic getaway—cozy, private, and just steps from the ocean. Waking up to the sound of waves and watching the sunset from our porch was unforgettable. The location couldn’t have been better—right on the beach with a lively, fun atmosphere just outside our door. Great food, music, and energy all around, yet still felt like our own little slice of paradise. This was by far our favourite vacation. The staff at this location were amazing! The bartenders, wait staff, chef, concierge and cleaning staff did absolutely everything possible to make our stay so wonderful. Our room was like something out of a dream. Private and yet social when we wanted. Location was best location. Short walk to all the shops and restaurants. 100/10. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fabulous vacation. The staff was all amazing! From the ones who greeted us, to the housekeeping and wait staff. All do friendly and helpful. The area was very convenient with all necessities close. Beach is gorgeous with fantastic massage therapists near by. Accommodations were just as pictured and we LOVED our stay at the ocho:)

Had the most amazing stay at Ocho Artisan Bungalows. The rooms are decorated beautifully and filled with super helpful hardworking staff who will go above and beyond for your needs. Amazing views and easy access to beach, didn't need to drive around once during our time in Tamarindo as it was in the heart of the best spots. Mauricio, our server for breakfast, was a phenomenal server and especially extremely kind and helpful. 10/10 will be back!

The property was as beautiful as the pictures. All of the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, especially Mauricio who brought a fun, positive energy every day. He also gave us great recommendations about the surrounding areas and in Tamarindo. We will likely return because we had such a great experience with him, the Ocho property, and all the staff.

I stayed here last night . The staff are very nice and friendly but are not very knowledgeable on tours as someone external is planning these things for guests rather than the staff in site. We were not highly impressed by a request via PayPal for deposit on tours or constant barraging of strange numbers messaging me. It is highly unprofessional of a property to message guests to send money to them via PayPal . The price of accommodation does not reflect the property at all. It is not worth what you pay for. It is essentially a 3 star. Breakfast options don’t have açaí bowls, which is what people want in that type of weather. The pool is nice but we saw a guest smoking marijuana near the pool. This is more of a hostel vibe rather than a 4 star accommodation. At no point should an accommodation allow a guest to smoke cannabis. For 200-250£ a night, guardian uk recommended it , I don’t believe it to be worth this
