"Outstanding location , with breathtaking views of Umbria from atop of the hill on which the small town of Bettona is located . During the 13th and 14th centuries the hotel was a hospital and an orphanage . Wasn’t thrilled with the restaurant , but that of course is a matter of taste. "Nothing major, just small things that kept it from being perfect. I would have liked a coffee pot and microwave. The floors needed a better vacuuming. Staff was excellent and accommodating. I don't know where the disconnect was but I thought I was booking the full apartment but was initially placed in a very small single room with bathroom. Fortunately the full apartment was available so we were able to switch to that on the second day. Just be aware that there are 3 properties available but...
