"It was so quiet and peaceful. Design of the manor was unique. On our arrival, we were able to check in early and we were able to visit our first winery in the area by walking a short distance. Several other wineries were close by as well as a shopping outlet. The only thing we weren't sure about was when the front door would have been locked. I assumed it would be after all guests for the day arrived as we were provided a front door key with our room key. Again, I assumed it was a front...

"The location was perfect for walking to the Metro and places to eat. It felt very safe, even walking at night. We enjoyed being so close to the Washington and Old Dominion Trail and rented bikes from a nearby Capital Bikeshare station to explore. One thing that was confusing is the check in—you need to fill out a form online with your personal details before check in. Upon arrival, press “Leasing Office” on the door pad to call the front desk to be let in. We arrived at night and were confused...
