"A unique boutique hotel set in a national park, beautifully restored from a former Catholic seminary. The renovation preserves history while creating a calm, elegant space. Only 20 minutes from Seattle, yet it feels like a true escape — quiet, peaceful, and grounding. Clean rooms, comfortable king bed, great shower, good coffee, and convenient parking. The staff is attentive but unobtrusive, which adds to the relaxing atmosphere. The only small improvement I’d suggest is crisper bedding...

"We stayed at this hotel for one night as three friends and had a great experience. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were warm and welcoming. Since it was the birthday month for two of us, we were upgraded to a room with a beautiful view, which made our stay extra special. The location is lovely, close to shops, restaurants, and attractions. We especially enjoyed the complimentary snack bar with great drink options. "You could not ask for a nicer quiet B&B and the hosts were amazing. You will be all by yourself as they only host one couple at a time. On Cottage Lake the facility is warm and friendly, and a little dated with the layout. It's private and breakfast is served at whatever time you want, and it's excellent! A very nice getaway that seems away from everything but only half hour-40 minutes or so from Seattle. "
