"De Vere Tortworth Court is a beautiful and unique mansion, completely surrounded by nature, built over 170 years ago. We came to visit the Cotswolds, and this accommodation worked out quite well (it is a 40 mins-1h drive from the main villages). Things I loved: All the shared areas are well kept and organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good as well as the bistro and the cocktail bar in the library room. "The room was beautiful and spotless however some of the furniture was a little worn but it added character. They had the tea and coffee box well stocked and not with just the standard tea and coffee but with the flavoured tea and decaf coffee plus they had shower gel, shampoo and conditioner as well as if you had forgotten anything you could ask for a guest pack (toothpaste, toothbrush, razors etc). On our first day we had and issue with the iron leaking, light blinking and not warming up so...

"We upgraded as we were looking forward to a arelaving treat for me and my partner. The upgrade was supposedly their best room which was full of cobwebs in the lounge area the bedroom and the bathroom and their dust everywhere and even worse inside the wardrobe it was thick with dust unableto put clothes in their . The furniture was falling apart and pieces missing off bits of furniture also. After I booked i was told breakfast last call was 10.30 am . We turned up at 9.45 to be told breakfast...
