"clean room, but the shower was broken to begin with, but fixed after 20 minutes, and loud, drunk guest at 2 am one night, which kept me up for 3 hours, but I did not say anything at the time, with i would not want to deal with such people at 2 am, so can not blame them with just wanting to sleep at the time and did not do anything my self. "Lovely welcome from host Jack, easy parking and access to the property. Room very clean and comfortable, everything needed for our 2 night stay. Great selection for continental breakfast in the morning in a pleasant self service dining area. Enjoyed a meal at The Plough Inn which was a short 5min walk away."

"We had a big room but it needs updating. The bathroom window was frosted but it was looking on to a courtyard and the blind did not work."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful but overall the hotel felt cramped and a little tired. There is no dining room, so breakfast offering is a grab and go bag but there are plenty of nice breakfast options in the area. The room was small and downstairs with a small window into a rear service yard, not the 4 star expected. The hotel entrance next to a phone shop was also not what we expected from the photos. Although accept that this is what you get from a central location."

"Booked an ensuite room but my room didn't have a bathroom and had to use the shared bathrooms. No staff was on site and had to call to check in. Opening the door to the room requires one hand to turn the electronic lock and the other hand to turn the doorknob. This is inconvenient when you're carrying stuff in your hand."
