"Our stay in March 2026 unfortunately started off stressful. Prior to arriving, I called to add an extra night to our reservation and was assured by the front desk that it had been confirmed. I trusted the confirmation and did not ask for an email verification. When we arrived after midnight—after driving nearly three hours with our three children—we were told the extra night had never been added and our room type was no longer available. One option offered by the manager was to cancel our stay and request a refund through Expedia so we could find another hotel. While I understand this may sometimes be a solution, it felt unrealistic at that hour with three tired children. Eventually we were accommodated in a smaller room for the night so we at least had somewhere to stay, but the discount offered was only $20 and we were charged the current nightly rate. Our second check-in for the original reservation went smoother. The room was better, but there was less than half a roll of toilet paper and no extra rolls provided, which ran out that same night. Breakfast was very good and the building itself is not in bad condition, though some walls and furniture look worn. The biggest disappointment was that the pool was closed, something never mentioned during booking. We only discovered this from a sign at the front desk. Overall, too many issues occurred during our stay for us to return."

"The hotel is well located in downtown Norwalk just off I 95. It has a full restaurant and a keurig in the room for coffee. I have an electric car and AmpUp has two charging stations in the parking lot."

"This was a terrible stay. Even after complaining, there was noise on the floor all night long. TVs, radios, people talking, shouting, and singing. There was only one bent coat hanger in the closet. There was no show curtain, though the front desk had delivered after four hours. The blanket on the bed had numerous cigarette burns in it. The room reeked of pot. I checked out early after my first night. The front desk clerk was friendly. "

"My room had dirty linens which is disgusting and it wasnt replaced until the next day, the ac wasn't working, it was loud, smelled like smoke, and you can hear EVERYTHING. Management wasnt much help"
