"Location only good thing about this hotel. Really disappointed from the minute we arrived. Main entrance was more like a fire exit/side door out of a night club. When we got into the reception area there was no warm welcome from staff, check in was self service via online screens. A few staff members looked on but not at all helpful. Check in not available until 3pm. My elderly parents and I arrived at the hotel approx 12pm after travelling many hours with 2 small hand luggage to attend theatre at 2pm, so I approached a member of staff to ask if we could store our luggage. I was told we would be charged £15 per item, therefore £30 or we could pay £40 early check in. I have stayed in many hotels across the world and never been charged to store luggage, it has always been a free courtesy. I felt completely conned by this and noticed many others being caught the same way. I asked if there was anywhere else to store luggage in the locality and staff just answered "I don't know". I have since discovered there is a luggage storage near Piccadilly underground charging £5. We reluctantly paid the early check in fee hoping to relax in our room before venturing out, but absolutely no facilities in the room, not even a chair and the beds are on the ground not good for my parents at all. The whole hotel was dark and gloomy with no natural light, lights constantly on. No privacy, with toilet behind a misted glass door & no shower door. Very basic, stayed in more comfortable budget hotels"

"Great airport option easily and cheaply accessed by local bus 423 from T5 or U3 from T2 & T3. Spacious room with fridge, kettle, chairs, soundproofing, very nice toiletries. Climbing in and out of the bath is not suitable for everyone, nor is having to remake the beds as the duvets were tucked in too tightly and the sheets were too small for the mattresses. Strange for an international airport hotel only to have UK Freeview TV channels...and I was disappointed that the bedside clock radio did not pick up any stations at all. Very tasty breakfast selection in nice surroundings. "

"Overpriced hostels, it's alright overall, but their customers service is horrible, I ask them multiple time over multiple day for clean towels and I only got them on day 3, they do not clear our room regularly either, I upgraded to have coffee in my room and they keep forgetting to give us coffee and would mix decaf with regular cafe even after requesting no decaf, its full of young students everywhere and the room are ridiculously small ( even after I upgraded my room to more space which costed me quite a bit ) the room was the smallest room I ever been in. It felt as if it was a hostel not a hotel at all. Won't be going back."

"I have stayed many times at this hotel as it's convenient to where I occasionally work. One of the reasons I always went back was because it's staff were so helpful. Unfortunately they have now installed a tablet check-in system and reduced the no. of check-in staff. In my opinion this has had a detrimental effect on the check-in experience - especially problematic if you were checking in at the same time as a large group. There are other hotels offering a more personalised service where you're able to speak with real people. I will certainly be seeking these out in future."
