"Extremely helpful and courteous staff. Great location."

"very cool place"

"GRAND du LAC is situated in a prime location, right in the heart of the Old Quarter and next to the St Joseph Cathedral. The ambiance is elegant, with beautiful architecture and top-notch services. The staff is friendly and professional, the rooms are exquisite, and the prices are reasonable. My only choice of hotel in Hanoi."

"Room was comfortable and great service recovery from Steven improved the experience. Club lounge was relatively smaller, with more lounge seats than dining tables. During dinner hours, guests may have to share the larger dining table, creating more of a communal canteen vibe than exclusive lounge. More proper dining tables would help. There is also room for improvement in the attentiveness of lounge staff and service levels of doormen and coffee service during breakfast."

"Excellent Hotel, nothing was too much trouble.Very comfortable beds"

"Great hotel, the swimming pool in the 5th floor in the middle of the city is really a plus"

"Very friendly"

"They got you feeling like a King and/or Queen here. I aint giving them a 5/5 for no reason on each checklist. The assistance and care given is immaculate. Upon my arrival and final day, the helpers came out to assist with me and my friend’s luggage out/in the taxi. They were also sincere and accommodative when it came through questions...

"Bữa sáng ngon , nhân viên rất nhiệt tình"

"Clean room. Good service and helpful staff."

"The hotel is situated in the heart of old town Hanoi. The room we had was well laid out and spacious. The roof top pool was a blessing to cool off in after the hustle and bustle of the city. The spa area; steam room, sauna had an extra charge, which was a shame. The rooms were a little noisy due to the proximity of the city traffic, but overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel if staying in old town Hanoi."
