"Nice spot with access to downtown St Michaels. The only unfortunate part of our stay was the restaurant was closed for renovations. Staff was kind and helpful during our stay and the room was very clean. Property right on the canal; so perfect for boaters too!! "We had an okay stay. Staff were very nice and helpful. However, the place was run down and looking worse for wear. Didn’t love that it was an outdoor hotel- it was giving motel vibes but with a hotel price tag. The room was clean but definitely run down, toilet paper holder was falling off the wall and the tub/shower was looking rough. Stopped by the pool and the water was extremely hot. "The place is seriously dated and in need of upgrades. My curtains were torn and unusable and with the sun beating in on one of those 100 degree days I was nonplussed. A quick discussion with the very accommodating desk clerk had the curtain “fixed” in no time (still needed replacement because it now couldn’t be opened - Lol.)
