"Absolutely wonderful stay! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spacious with the most beautiful view. The only downside was the rocky, steep drive up to the property, which was kind of hard to find. Definitely rent a 4x4 if you plan on staying here."

"Great manager, she is kind, knowledgeable, funny, and easy to reach. The place was clean and good location. Great for those on a budget not needing every amenity. If driving, back into parking lot. Grill currently not available due to building of an outside sitting area. Not sure you can walk to marina in 20 minutes, nor would I given the hill, but you definitely cannot walk to the park. Don’t think this error in landmarks is the fault of Tico Tico though, but the reason for my 3 stars on...

"The views from the restaurant are stunning. We split our trip between the beach and volcano so we had a 4 night stay at Gaia for the beach and a 4 night stay at Nayara Springs. Check in at the hotel was easy. You park or get dropped off at the security area (also where the gym is) and then a golf cart takes you up to the main building where the reception area is and the restaurant. "Beautiful grounds"

"Huge rooms, beautiful landscaping withing the hotel property, warm pools, and a very intimate hotel with less than 20 rooms. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, including huge bathrooms. The bathroom also included a retractable clothesline for hanging up swimming suits and towels. The staff was top notch, especially Dixie, Francine, Helen, and Yferson. "We rented a marvelous room in this historical medieval mansion. Everything was impeccable!"

"Great views. Monkeys, toucans, and macaws seen right from our balcony! Steep road to the entrance with literally 4-5 parking spots at the top. You can park at the bottom and ride the golf cart up. Buffet breakfast was good. Activities and grounds (fountains, ect)were, Im assuming, shut down for maintenance."
