Khách sạn Tomintoul

"A good place for a short stopover."

"This house did not feel stable or safe. It is very very old, and many things weren't working: fireplace, washer, hot water in sinks and upper shower, coffee machine, shower doors broken, etc. The floors upstairs and stairs creaked so much they felt like they were about to fall through. Massive spiders in the house as well which we havent seen at all. There was lots of black mold behind kitchen sink, coffee machine was very dirty, junk in driveway. No shampoo or conditioner in showers and no...

"We were rented the family bedroom that had its own private bath, a double bed and three singles. It was a great place to stay. Huge kitchen for everyone and lots of seating. Parking was a bit tight."

"Our short stay was good . Staff was very friendly. Room was big and cosy 😇"

"Wonderful location next to the River Spey. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Quickly resolved a problem with me having inadvertently paid twice. Lively bar with good food. Room was very comfortable"

"Everything we needed for an overnight staff. Property is a little dated, by clean and the staff were great."

"Collin et Sara sont des hôtes exceptionnels, ils ont été capable de répondre à tous nos besoins et sont allés au delà de ce qui est attendu. On se sentait chez nous, le lit était confortable et l’atmosphère avec les foyers était feutrée et très agréable."

"Good place to have a cosy room stop over when travelling."

"The staff from start of visit until we left could not do enough for you. It was amazing, warm and friendly. Nothing was a bother. Excellent breakfast and meals. A wonderful gluten free menu. Highly recommend."

"I stayed in a room rather than one of the lodges, and the room was lovely, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. It's worth noting its on the very edge of the town, around a 15-minute walk from the centre of Ballater. My only disappointment was that the rooms are not serviced daily unless you are staying for a longer period, which wasn't explained at check-in. It was a little frustrating to return after a long day out to find the room hadn't been serviced, as that's one of the things I most...

"Room was very small but well appointed evening meal in restaurant was very good But the breakfast was mediocre I wouldn’t recommend this hotel"

"Excellent stay. Spacious, clean rooms, comfortable bed and quiet room even though there was a named storm with 70mph winds you wouldn't have had a clue until you looked out the window, also never heard any noise from other guests. Would definitely stay again."

"We enjoyed all the comfort and atmosphere of an old inn, but with every modern convenience. The food was superb in the restaurant, and the full breakfast was as well. The common room was a cozy area with a fire, comfortable seating, and games!"

"Loved this place! We were greeted by incredible staff and the front desk man was incredible!! Everyone at the hotel was so kind and warm and made the stay amazing. Food was amazing and the room was great. Great location in the country side. A car is needed. Great whiskey selection at the car. Would highly recommend!"

"Great place to stay while in Speyside. The breakfast was excellent. The restaurant has great food too! Would stay here again."

"Excellent 2 night stay at this family friendly hotel in October with our two grandkids. Only negative was the pool having to close for a deep clean on one night of our stay so our grandkids missed out on the pool disco, however I am sure this was required for health and safety reasons."
