"They call themselves pet-friendly, but actually mean dog-friendly. We got to town in the middle of the night having already paid for my room and were turned away because one of my emotional support animals is a cat instead of a dog. Hotels need to stop claiming to be pet friendly when they only allow dogs. They are not even ESA-friendly - how do they call themselves pet-friendly?? The lady just stood there and said they have a strict no cat policy. She didn't offer to help us find another place to stay or anything. Luckily I booked through Expedia and they got my money refunded, but I will absolutely never stay at this hotel due to their stranding us in the middle of the night exhausted and in an area we weren't familiar with, with no place to go. Being past midnight made it difficult to book elsewhere."
