"I got a super rate & knew I was just there to sleep. The room was clean and comfortable although a little worn. The property is currently under renovation. I appreciated the quiet though some might say spooky because only a few guests were staying.
Fantastic deal for those looking for basics.
There's a game room, a workout space, iron, hair dryer, fridge, microwave, tv, and a pool which was a little murky but seemed swimmable.
Staff was friendly."
"I would say this is the nicest and best maintained Hampton inn I’ve ever seen. The lobby smells good, the rooms are clean and seem recently renovated. Very nice. There was one issue that irked me though. We were there for two nights and expected housekeeping to tidy the room, refresh towels, etc. When we returned from our day ,the day after check in, it was not cleaned and when I called they said they clean every other day. That wouldn't obviously apply to our stay since we were there Friday through Monday. When I called, the front desk sounded ever so slightly put out and said I could stop by the desk for towels. I asked that they bring them to the room and they did and were very nice but the whole thing seemed ridiculous. The pandemic is over, the hotel did not seem very full, and it seemed easy to just send in housekeeping for a quick refresh. Whatever but I decided it kept this from being a 5 star stay."
"In our hotel room, there was stucco sawdust and other stuff on the windowsill and on the carpet there was no hot water from the bathroom sink and just about no pressure from that sink either. using the shower, it sprayed the whole bathroom. Everything was soaked. I went to the front desk to see about having the problem corrected, but the person there said she was the only one in the hotel, running the front desk and cleaning all the other rooms so it wouldn’t get done. I can’t say that I’ll stay there again."
"The pool looked inviting but i didn't bring a suit.
The guy at the desk was very nice & helpful. My AC wasn't working and he came right down, it needed a reset button pushed. Then my TV wouldn't turn on, he was right there, it was just batteries needed in the remote.
It was clean and a nice stay.
My only issue was the breakfast wasn't much, but I guess for the price - you can go out for eggs, bacon, or sausage.
I will definitely stay there again!"
