As always, it’s worth getting out of the centre. Take a 20 minute bus ride (#2 or 4) to Opicina and eat at Trattoria Max, or walk down Corsi Italia for a drink in piazza Garibaldi which was very lively when I was there.

Such a beautiful city! Was beautiful, enough to do for 2 days and the local cuisine and history was great. I’d love to come again.
