Very comfortable hotel in a great location. Easy access to town, port and rail. Provision of set dinner was a real bonus and not expected! Newly renovated reception area and it appears they are upgrading rooms as well. A really good value option for Trondheim.

We just came back from our week stay at the grand Olav. We had a great time. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The breakfast was the best as was the dinner. We enjoyed the coffee machine anytime we wanted some it was there to use. I was worried about not having AC. Being from Texas, USA in August- we need AC. But the room was comfortable with the portable fans they provided. We would definitely stay here again!!

This is an excellent hotel by all measures. The location is perfect for Trondheim tourism and the music scene. The reception staff could are terrific. They had so many helpful tips for getting around Trondheim and where to eat and drink. The breakfast and dinner buffet are very good (and given the prices of restaurants in Norway, a real money saver). My room had a wonderful view of the city.

Siamo stati qui con la formula che include colazione, spuntino pomeridiano e cena. Devo dire che l'hotel è di alto livello, nonostante i prezzi accessibili per Trondheim, la stanza è grande, anche se leggermente carente di illuminazione, la struttura è bella e il cibo è di ottima qualità, ottimo anche per gli italiani (abbiamo mangiato anche un'ottima insalata di pasta). Consigliato!

Excelente hotel. El desayuno es correcto y suficiente. El personal destaca por su amabilidad: una chica del servicio de cenas, de origen portugués, fue especialmente atenta, amable y encantadora. En recepción, una joven de origen chileno también nos atendió con gran amabilidad y profesionalismo. En general, todo el equipo fue muy cordial. Como punto a mejorar, la habitación no se limpia a diario a menos que lo solicites expresamente, lo cual sería importante aclarar desde el inicio. Aun así, sin duda repetiría. ¡Muy recomendable!

Mycket bra mat och fika!

Bodde två nätter, fint rum med något nedlegad säng så vi båda hamnade i mitten. Fantastiskt bra läge, frukost, eftermiddagsfika och middag som ingick. Parkeringshuset var mycket dyrare än vad som står på hemsidan. Trondheim var väl värt besöket, hotellet också!

Centralt i Trondheim

Har bott flera gånger på hotellet och nu börjar det märkas att det har några år på nacken och det börjar bli slitet om omodernt. Stort plus för trevlig personal, för kvällsmaten och för en bra frukostbuffé. Dubbelrummet hade dock en säng som var så smal att det knappt gick att sova två personer i den. Det framgick inte när vi bokade.

Väldigt liten säng säkert bara 140 och stod inget om det i bokningen, Rummet väldigt slitet förutom badrummet som såg nyrenoverat ut, buffén som ingick på kvällen var inte mycket att skryta med. Mkt högt pris för denna dåliga kvalte
