"The room was not as advertised. Staff at check in was not helpful. We had notified them ahead of time that we were celebrating an anniversary - no acknowledgement - bathroom was dirty, very small, patio was dirty - uncomfortable. No security. Fees were not as expected. Not safe- each time we walked out - there were homeless people hanging out and accosting us ."

"Just be aware that parking is across the street in the Convention Center. You can pull up and unload, but going back and forth to your car is a trek. And they charge 10-$20 per day to park."

"This was our 2nd stay at Ocean...and I think we will be going back to the Hard Rock for a while. We had reserved two rooms, with the 2nd room guests arriving a day after our arrival. It was for our 95 year old Mother that was coming in with her daughter. The room was not ready until well after 5:00 p.m. with no notification....after multiple phone calls.....multiple times waiting in the key pick up line, and our dinner reservations were at the resort for 5:30. "I have been staying at the Borgata for the last 20 years and I must say I was pretty disappointed. The outdoor garden bar and pool were closed. A ton of the gambling machines were out of service. It looks like they are replacing the older gambling machines with newer ones. We ended up going to the ocean’s Casino the last two days while staying at the Borgata and decided to extend our stay at Ocean’s for an extra day I don’t believe I will be back."

"no hot water to shower, the hotel did not accomodate in any way other than to tell us to contact expedia. The door to our room was no secure we could push it open without presenting the key card."

"Absolutely terrible! Elevators took 30 minutes just to get to your floor and every time it would even get to your floor it would be full after 30 minutes! Had to haul 3 suite cases 15 flights of stairs because I was not going to wait a hour just for an elevator:( Floors were stained bad and it was all humid! Rooms were okay! In the parking garage the spaces are way too close! my car got hit just in a parking spot away from everyone! Workers were rude as well. Never coming back!"

"Atmosphere was calm, mature crowd, but not boring. I wish there wasn’t so many penny and five cents machines, more progressive machines, and the smoking the cigarette smell I wish it wasn’t there like it was no smoking at all, but overall the property was well maintained and clean"

"Neighboring room fighting and in my hallway sound like they were coming in our room took police a minute to get there daughter traumatized and hasn’t slept all night since and having night terrors she never had before"

"As a guest, I should not have to pay to use the pool to pay for my parking. Also I requested an ocean front view and was given the wrong room. Somebody made an extra $155 on me plus $30 for parking and an amazing breakfast that cost $80. That's also absurd. Get a grip and lower your prices. A better or include them in the price of the room. Otherwise everybody began online, and you'll have no guests."

"No hand soap in the bathroom, television did t work so we had to switch rooms. Asked for washcloths and towels but didn't get them until the next business day. The location is nice by the beach."
