"I booked and paid ahead of time. I drove down 2.5 hrs to find it was completely shut down and not a running hotel. Very irritated I booked here because I was down there for a bowling tournament and the bowling alley basically shares a driveway. I had to go acrossed the street to holiday inn and luckily they had a vacancy, I had to pay $180 more than what I was expecting to pay, I haven’t gotten a refund. Also not sure why they are taking reservations when they are not even open for business. "

"The rooms are very spacious. Not your typical cookie cutter motel room design. Felt genuinely relaxed in the space. They do not have smart TV’s so no streaming available, was told upgrades are planned for spring. Not a deal breaker for me during this stay but just something to note. River views and balconies drew me to choose this property. Proximity to hiking areas but also Convenient to Brattleboro for funky downtown shops and restaurants.
Recommend Echo Lounge for good food and drinks.
Highly recommend staying here.

"After struggling to get our room info (via contactless "service"), our room was adequate. There was a fair amount of sand outside due to the weather which ended up tracking in and being nasty in our carpet. Complimentary breakfast was unappealing. The best part was the location and the reasonable cost. "
