Only downsides were the size of the room (small/cramped), the bathroom door is see through (awkward if it’s more than one person staying in the room), and the traffic/street train was very noisy and woke us up a few times. Oh and parking is a minimum of $25/day for the parking garage next door or $55/day for valet. Otherwise lovely hotel, close to venue and all staff were very kind and helpful."

The person at the front desk told me I could cancel my reservation, when we arrived to check in. "Super cool and quirky place to stay while in Sacramento. It’s close to the stadium where we went to see an A’s game. Close to Old Town and plenty of food choices. Rooms are small but the charm of the boat makes up for that. Sea lions sing their song loud and proud so we used our ear plugs (they’re provided). We will be back!!"

"I needed a place to stay as i had an early morning medical appointment and I live about 99 miles away. It served it's purpose. However, it appeared that the room was not thoroughly cleaned. There was stray hair in the shower and when I pulled back the sheets, there was also strands of hair. I went and purchased a big bath towel to sleep on. When I came back from dinner, there were guest outside enjoy their alcoholic beverages in the parking lot. I would not recommend this property to solo female...

"I would not recommend staying at Vagabond Hotel, it should honestly be called a motel. We were never informed that the property was undergoing major construction, which felt extremely misleading. Aside from the construction crew, we were the only guests on-site, which made the environment feel uncomfortable and unsafe.
