"The restaurant on site is excellent. They close at 6, so mostly breakfast, lunch or early dinner. The beach bungalows are lovely and rustic. Try to get one with air conditioning. Not all have it. You’re right on the soft sand beach with jungle behind the hotel. Walking distance to other wonderful hotels for food/drinks. The staff could not be nicer. "

"The stay was very nice and cozy, nice clean room close to the beach. It wasn’t directly with beach view, but partially, and I liked it because the wind was strong. Property is very close to the Mayan ruins, just 10-15 minutes walk on the beach . Staff were very nice . Since it’s a glamping option, I didn’t realize , my cabin didn’t have a bathroom, I had to walk in the middle of the property to the toilet and to take a shower. Not all the toilets and showers were in good condition and had shampoo and conditioners. I just stayed one night, it was ok."

"The only redeeming quality of this hotel is that it is close to the National Park. Food is okay, pretty much the exact same thing everyday in the buffet. No menu. Hot water is a maybe. Maid service is okay. Elevators don’t have accurate floor numbers. No room service. Front desk speaks no English. "

"Clean room and comfy bed, very friendly staff, excellent included breakfast. The margarita ordered from the beach bar was the worst I’ve ever had, but the mixed grill plate we had for dinner more than made up for that. "

"Overall, the hotel grounds and nice and maintained. I can say the rooms were nice and spacious as well. The only problem is outside noise in the apartment. My 1 bedroom was outside of the pool with kids constantly screaming. I was able to tune it out but the bedroom located in the back faced the road and you can clearly hear every car driving by. Thankful the road is clamber at night. On my second day there was a high pitched loud buzzing sound coming from the courtyard. I couldn’t tune this sound out and it was extremely irritating. I walked around to see where it was coming from and finally asked the front desk if I could change rooms. I also noticed my balcony door didn’t close all the way. The front desk said we don’t have any other one bedrooms available and said nobody ever complained about this noise. I offered to take a downgrade or even pay for an upgrade to no avail. I convinced them to come hear the sound and they finally agreed and learned the sound was coming from a motor outside of my room. They shut off the motor and all was well and they sent someone to fix the door. The motor was back on my last day but I just dealt with it. The front desk could have handled the situation better and offered some accommodation rather than dismissing my claims. Overall it’s a nice place but not relaxing and staff could have been better. I’d think twice before booking this place or at least book a room on the higher floor to avoid the noise. "

"Las habitaciones no están listas a tiempo. Te la entregan hasta 1 hora y media después. Ir a cualquiera de sus restaurantes es un desastre. No tienen un sistema o plataforma automatizado, todo lo hacen manual. La hostes es la que te lleva a la mesa y deja desatendida la recepción de los restaurantes. Pésima coordinación en restaurantes. La comida estuvo bien, pero las porciones son muy pequeñas, parece que es un menú de degustación. No regresaría. "

"We loved the hotel's location in the National Park and on the beach. The restaurant was delicious, the staff were helpful, everything was great. We loved the free breakfast! They gave us bikes to use and we were able to visit other hotels for dinner each night and feel safe doing so. We walked to the ruins and took the electric shuttles. The only things we'd have changed was to have the bar and/or restaurant open later so we could grab apps or drinks in the evenings. We were also quite confused by how the shuttles worked and it took a couple days to figure it out, so a better explanation with a map of the routes might have been helpful. But these are just suggestions. We had a wonderful time!"
