"Nasty place and cockroaches everywhere "

"The room, beddings and towels were really clean (I checked it!) but the pillows and bed were not too comfortable. There is no coffee maker in the room. The parking area is not in a fenced area and shared by a restaurant and gas station, so it doesn't feel safe. There is a small fitness room with 3 exercise equipment but one is not working. The breakfast that comes with the room rate is standard fare - bread, cereal, oatmeal packets, cold boiled eggs, fruit, coffee. It would be nice if they...

I called the number posted on the window and a man answered and told me it wasn’t OK for me to calling I called once more and was told that the police would be called on me."

"Stayed at Holiday Inn & Suites Bakersfield. The rooms were very modern and clean, which made the stay comfortable. The breakfast had a good variety of choices and was definitely a nice added bonus. Will stay here again."

"We have ended up checking out early as it was very dirty, sticky floor, marks on bed etc. Very disappointing. Unhygienic and not a comfortable place to stay."

"The hotel's television didn't work. There was no internet connection. The air conditioner was so loud it sounded like a train passing through our room. We asked to be moved to another room and were told that these problems were throughout the hotel. We made a special point to stay here because we like Marriott's. We were bitterly disappointed in our decision."
