"Tremendous value compared to other area options. Motel has a vintage ambiance. Attractive, spacious room with all the amenities and comfortable bed. My room had a carport. Some rooms have kitchens. Houses with full kitchen also available. Friendly staff. Just short walk to restaurants and shopping area. Short drive to Enchanted Rock and scenic drives through hill country. "They let us check in early, for a free of course, but we didn’t mind paying considering we were soaking wet and tired. We were able to get our laundry sorted, repack, and relax until time to leave. During our stay it was pretty quiet besides the traffic from the highway, which wasn’t all that bad. "
