Lots of work ongoing alkng the quays and the tower was completely unerr scaffolding but obviously work needs to be done but a great atmosphere, calmer than Amsterdam but still plenty dining and drinking options

"Clean hotel in a great location. We were in an area that was away from the business but close to lots of places to eat. So nice that it was right next to a bike rental shop. We were late checking in and were provided a free drink ticket. Check in process was only complaint."

We had visited Utrecht a couple of times before - there is plenty to see. We visited the cathedral and climbed up the Domtoren, and spent an enjoyable time following guided walks around the Nieuwegracht and Oudegracht and elsewhere.
