The location of this hotel is so convenient. Step off the train and virtually right into the hotel. Our room was very comfortable. My only ceitisims that the room lights are quite dim and all of them on one switch. Staff were always friendly and helpful. This was our final stay in Jaoan and it was most enjoyable.

Stayed here for convenience for the Moto GP in Motegi. The hotel is attached to the train station and a shopping mall. The Motegi coaches pick up at the back of the hotel so very convenient. Breakfast had some western food available. Would have been nice to have coffee or black tea available in rooms.

Excellent value for money

Excellent value for this hotel. It was clean, comfortable, rooms well sized, great shower, great location. I had breakfast there and it was very nice. The business lounge could do with some improvements e.g. coffee, tea, snacks available and some more tables where to sit and work.

Front desk service was excellent. Only complaint I would have is the pillows are too flat. The mattress is hard but I didn’t have any problem sleeping on it. The bathroom amenities were wonderful. I would stay here again for sure.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever lived in Utsynomiya. I visit to Utsynomiya once a year, and it is hardly find an affordable while comfortable hotel. Finally, I am able to find one. Highly recommend this hotel. I stayed in this hotel for three nights. Room is spacious.The hotel itself is convenient as it is located nearby the JR station. Staff are helpful and polite. There are many options in the breakfast buffet. I will choose to stay here again.

Great Location and good amenities. Our room (406) had a very weird layout with the bed against the wall which made it impossible for the second person to get off the bed without disturbing the other. Also, had to go up a step to get into the toilet. Not sure how other rooms are configured.

The hotel room was quite spacious and clean. I liked the shower head which I could adjust the angle by 10 degrees each. The negative part is that they got my name wrong, as I only had my name in alphabet in Expedia, and the hotel changed it to Japanese the wrong way, and also the floor and wall of the room is thin, I could hear the footsteps of the floor above like they were doing judo.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Everywhere is walkable, with a variety of different shops and restaurants around. The check in and check out service needs improvement, as I would prefer staff to assist with the process and not rely on a full self service. The coin laundry is also easy to use, but probably not enough for the amount of rooms. Would be good if the TV could check the status of the laundry cycle. Other than that, would recommend this hotel if you visit Utsonmiya.

Clean and Conveniently Located

This hotel is within walking 5 minute distance from the key public transport within Utsonmiya. From the JR station, to the light rail and key buses. You can enter the hotel directly through the station or the ground level. There are also some department stores directly across road. The service though, needs some improvement. For example, the check in system promotes self service. Even though 2-3 staff at the counter, they cannot check any one in, but instead guide you to the machines. There also know limited English, in particular when you are trying to ask them to clear the laundry machines via the phone. Saying that, the hotel is very clean and looked quite new. Will recommend people to stay.

I chose this hotel because I wanted to stay at a somewhat decent hotel close to the train station. It was very convenient since it was literally at the train station and close to many shops and restaurants. The room was quite small and had no bells and whistles, but it's what I expected. The room was clean which was most important to me. My only complaint about the room was that there were only two pillows — one for me and one for my husband. So, sleeping wasn't very comfortable. In terms of the staff, I felt like they did their job but I didn't get the type of customer service that I was used to at other hotels where I stayed in Japan. This is why I rated it as average. The highlight of this hotel, however, was that there is a nice , roomy lounge area. It was perfect since I had family visiting and I obviously couldn't host in my room. Coffee was also available in the lounge.
