The communication included information on the free breakfast and snack room as well as letting us know our room was ready for check in 3 hours early. "We like going during the off season. Magic mountain is nice. Only negative is a hotel across the street that the owners need to take down but it has asbestos. Unsightly for Upper Pass customers which is unfortunate. Would stay again. Nice restaurant/ bar."

" The lodge was like being home. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The common area was like being in someones living room with comfy sofas, recliners and a stone fireplace. The owners were friendly went above and beyond to make our stay special. The breakfast was made to order and delicious. Not the usual buffet continental you find at other hotels. This is our new "go to" weekend retreat. Loved it!!!!!"

"We stayed for 2 nights, staff were very sweet and accommodating. The room was clean, and to us thats priority. It is an older hotel, and very basic which was fine for us. The matresses were a bit too soft for our liking, but we are also use to ultra firm at home so we don't have high expectations for the matresses at any hotel stay. They should note the don't offer a free continental breakfast, although there is a great breakfast restaurant with in walking distance and another about 3 min drive...

"Conveniently located in a quiet area just to the north of Bennington. Easily accessible. Excellent continental breakfast with a good choice of high quality food and a delightful and helpful host. The communal breakfast table enabled us to enjoy the company of the other guests, from whom we learned much about the area. The room was spacious, well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. The Publyk House next door was a short walk away across the garden and is highly recommended for dinner. "

"I would stay here again. Been to 15 motels on our trip. This had one of the best looking made bed of all of them. Nice bed cover. Motel is older. Landscaping needs work for better presentation. Shower had a little wooden window at top. Had mold and needs painting badly. The bottom of the shower looked bad. A woman would not shower in it. It was by far the worse shower on the trip. Price wise was a decent price for the area."
