"Our room smelled like a wet ashtray. I pulled the filter from the in-wall air conditioner and it is obvious that they didn't do even a replacement of that to try to mitigate the odor. This place was not cheap either. Just the stench was cheap. The staff was nice & apologetic but they were sold out on ADA rooms so nothing she could do. I will take my business elsewhere in the future."
"We had a one night stay there, and it was perfect. We didn't arrive until the evening and were happy to find out the pool was open until later. Had time for a nice little nighttime dip. Staff was super friendly and helpful. "
Quality Inn & Suites East Syracuse - Carrier Circle
6/10 Okay
"The staff that helped at night was very kind. Unfortunately the floors were sticky like someone dumped honey on them and I had to literally wash them myself to walk around and there was pee all over the back of the toilet and around it that it smelled so bad. I have pictures as well."
Hotel Concord Syracuse, an Ascend Collection Hotel
4/10 Poor
"This property is under major renovation with the entire first floor unusable. There was major dust from the sanding that permeated throughout the entire hotel. My son and I got sick during our stay at this property. "
"The room was disgusting. It smelled like a dirty gym locker. The bathroom smelled awful like leaking sewage and the shower was not clean with red mold stains everywhere and peeling caulking on all the seams. We didn’t even try to shower. The toilet actually had a slow leak at the back turn off valve that was corroded and the seams of the floor to the walls had a 1/2 inch gap from the molding. The whole room was absolutely gross and unsanitary.
The only redeeming quality was the warmth of Kelley at the breakfast buffet, she was lovely and made the breakfast look beautiful.
Will not stay again."
