"Very nice"

"I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to provide feedback on my recent stay at your Hampton hotel during the 4th of July holiday. After many years of traveling from New Jersey to Virginia to stay at your property for this special occasion, I must express my disappointment with the experience we had this year. "We have been staying here for the last few years. This was our first time in the 'original' side of the hotel. Two issues this time. Not one time did we get housekeeping to change towels. We were there 4 nights. Tried calling but no answer. Also, I do hope the beds are updated by our next visit. Way too soft or worn out. My husband and I both had back aches at the end of our stay. Everything else was good."

"basic 2/3 star hotel. it was decent. breakfast ok. waffle iron was a good option..smoke free.. downside is they allow pets"

"The room was very clean and furnished with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and soft. I enjoyed the variety of breakfast items also. The only thing I didn't like was when there was only 1 elevator working when so many people were trying to come down for checking out."

"The rooms (2) smelled awful, it was coming from the bathrooms, possible sewer damage. Changed rooms and still had a faint odor over the bleach smell. Body just continental. Staff very apologetic & helpful. Can’t be the 1st to complain of the odor!!"

"Young men working the desk are helpful, attentive and nice. The guy who seems to be the manager is not very helpful. Says that housekeeping is out today- understandable that happens. The issue is that during a two week stay, the room was NEVER once cleaned or vacuumed, no bedding or towels washed or even swapped out. That lack of attention makes every other small flaw, which there are many, stand out. WiFi is slow & weak signal, which alone probably wouldn’t generate my review."

"Very Friendly Staff, However The Comforters On Both My Beds Were Dirty Upon Arrival. The Breakfast Was Consolidated Greatly. The Doors Are Very Loose/Shaky, And You Can See The Sidewalk From The Bottom Of The Door. Overall, Not A Terrible Stay, But Most Definitely Could Be Better. 5.5/10."

"Beautiful place right outside the town center! I loved the historic elements, how spacious the room was, and how comfortable the bed was! The breakfast items available were great as well! I would definitely recommend this spot in the future!"

"We were told upon arrival that we could not test in the room we booked due to a water leak and mold. Moved to another room that also had mold. Decided to cancel the stay after seeing this. Reached out to oyo as well as Expedia. Expedia was helpful on reaching out to staff about the cancellation policy and a refund. I was told they waived the cancellation and would issue a refund since we provided proof of mold. Nothing has since been processed and I am unable to contact anyone."

"The room was in desperate need of upkeep and repairs. Too many issues to list here but definitely will not be staying at this location again in the future."
