"Beautiful, comfortable and clean accommodations with a stunning view of the Douro River! Excellent pool overlooking the river and valley. The staff were all so friendly, kind and helpful. It was an absolute delight to stay here, I would highly recommend Quinta da Marka and hope I can make it back there someday! "

The restaurant was also excellent - with enough choice for 3 fabulous meals even though the menu didn’t change during our 3 night stay. The rooms and common areas are picturesque and should be visited by Arch Digest. Well appointed and furnished to relax the mind.
The staff is top notch. Not too assertive but very attentive and respectful.
The restaurant options have a nice variety from bar to Michelin. This is what you want. A kitchen that can provide delicious bites on the go and the more exquisite dishes...
