"We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Lubrense! It is a beautiful hotel with stunning outdoor yards/pools and incredible views. A short 10 minute drive into Sorrento, but the public bus stop is right at the entrance to the hotel and it's only two-euro in to town. There are also beautiful beaches and a few restaurants very close to the hotel, a steep but short walk away. The staff at Villa Lubrense were by far the best part of our stay. This place runs on rules upon rules upon regulations, and the photos are doing heroic work—instead of an idyllic hillside retreat, you get a tired, austere little fiefdom that makes a Holiday Inn look like the Ritz.
