"I thought this property offered great bang for the buck. Me and my wife were very happy with every aspect of our stay here and since we go to Mystic every year, we will definitely be staying here again. I got two great nights of sleep- the bed is very comfortable and the air conditioning is quiet and actually is more like white noise. The room was nice and clean, and my wife enjoyed the pool. Recommended."
"The staff was very helpful and attentive any time we requested more towels, blankets or late check out they were very efficient and helpful. 😊 The only thing we weren't aware of is that this hotel is not part of the casino anymore which is kind of a bummer cuz when it was you could use the big pool at foxwoods. I don't think that is the case anymore."
"It is an older hotel in a wonderful spot. It's small and beachy. Clean enough. Walk to Coast Guard House and Pier. We had the ocean view which was very pretty. Private deck is super small. 2 chairs. It's not luxury! The room smelled of cologne which leads me to suspect they probably have a mildew problem. Not surprised given the age of the property and the proximity to the ocean. But it has adequate parking and the bigger shared deck overlooking the ocean is nice. If you don't care about big frills, it's a good place to take in a beach day and stroll along the sea wall to nice restaurants and bars at the Pier. Not cheap but nothing in the summer at the ocean is. No restaurant on site; breakfast consists of walking to very little kitchen, making a cup of coffee, toasting a bagel and carry it back to your room."
"Staff were very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean however both rooms had the smell of smoke. Even though no smoking for both rooms but that is probably because some people feel entitled.
About 20 minute easy ride to the beach.
Free breakfast offered was nice (make own waffles).
Suggest listing Wi-Fi password in the rooms."
"I like the overall design of the hotel and rooms. The staff was helpful. The check-in process was too time consuming and they have recently begun to charge for parking which was included in the past."
"I stay here 10 years ago.
By mistake we booked and we came back and try the place, great expirience and great staff. We are looking forward to our next visit to our kids and family in Wich the area ...we will definitely stay here again."
