"The front desk staff person (if u have any questions, just call for “Cat…as in meow!) was very lively & friendly. We appreciated the cleanliness of our room however, once again (the hotel we stayed in downtown the night before at the Doubletree had the same issue, though even worse) the shower drain was not draining so we found ourselves standing in 2.5 “ of water. Not sure what’s going on w/ the drains here in Omaha lately, but it really was not pleasant and as a female really hoping to wash my hair, there was no way it was going to be possible w/out flooding the bathroom. Also, if u like to go out and enjoy the downtown & then just bring something back to room to heat and eat later, you’re S.O. L. as there is no microwave in the room. Luckily, my wood fired pizza was tasty, even cold.
Finally, no big deal in the fact that the cover to the card reader on our room door fell right off as we tried to gain access to our room upon check in, but the fact that our hotel key would not open the gate to the parking garage upon leaving the ramp was extremely inconvenient as we had to call & wait for a hotel staff person to let us out. When ur paying $25extra to park, u would think that this would be the last thing you’d have to deal with. And unfortunately, we weren’t the only guests that had to deal with this either. We’ve stayed here before, but as time has gone by, it’s lost a little luster. Very central to downtown but it’s the little things that matter when choosing where 2 stay."
"We love this hotel. Air conditioning was broke in some of our partied rooms, with no other accommodation which was unfortunate since we booked this hotel 6 months prior. We tried not to let it affect our stay! "
"Cleanliness and neatness is excellent. The heating was adequate. Flooring is vinyl, nothing fancy. Breakfast was good but not great. Coffee was not good at all. The biggest issue I had was with outside noise. Due to location, traffic noise is on the high side. Entrance to parking lot is through a gas station driveway, with standing water. The stay was good overall...I give it 3.75 out of 5."
"There was one problem with our stay at Days Innn omaha. Unfortunately its a pretty big one. I booked an accessible room as i am in a wheelchair and the only thing that was accessible was the the doorways. I was unable to move around the room, couldnt get on the bed, had to request a shower chair and received a damaged and very dirty one and when she came to the door with it she accused us of smoking in the room. But other than that, the room was very clean and freshly remodeled and the staff was very nice."
"There were multiple items to pick from for breakfast. It was well stocked.
From the start, it was a well kept room. Even though we didn’t have housekeeping clean our room, they were very pleasant when we asked for a few more towels.
The parking was good. And well-lit.
We would stay here again. "
"It's an average everything at this hotel, in a state of decline, a travelers hotel right off the freeway. Free parking, pool, gym, decent restaurant, good value. Nothing more."
