Hotel is fine. Staff is excellent. No real restaurant yet. Only complaint is trying to break big bills to give out tips to staff is difficult to impossible. Usually, there is no cash at the front desk. The staff suffers because of this.

One of the best hotels in DC! Even with the pandemic in our rear view mirror many high end hotels are still offering limited services such as no room service. But the Salamander remains a jewel. The rooms are beautiful and the hotel staff is exceptional! I'd give the hotel 10 stars if I could! **********

I loved everything except I did t like that there was no coffee maker in the room we had to rent one from them for 30.00 one time fee , thought that should be a staple in every room plus we stood in a suite . But everything from service 24hr dining location excellent just a peaceful hotel and beautiful also !!

Melody had talked to my mother and travel partner for this trip about our questions prior to going. She met us at check in and it was a great addition to all of the very friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was ok but not worthy of the cost in my opinion.
