"Great location and quick walk to town. The room was spacious .very clean and the bed was so comfortable. Having a small refrigerator was great to keep drinks and snacks. Will definitely stay again. The staff was super friendly. Thank you!!"

"The historic tour (included in the stay) was fantastic! The view, the property vibe is magical. The older staff, especially those who have been with the lodge for years are very helpful. The younger staff at the front desk and the dining area could be more welcoming. Overall a great experience."

"My siblings and I have rented a cabin here for about a week every year since covid forced us to leave the motel we had been using. This year there were two improvements: 1) the check-in was all electronic with text and email, 2) there was no longer a physical key, door had a number pad. The two small negatives are I missed the big soft chair that was there last year, and some of the steak knives should be retired and replaced."
