"My husband and I drove the coast of California from Paso Robles to stay here in Monterey. After a long day of driving, we were thrilled to enter the building and hear they have upgraded us to partial ocean view. We sat on the balcony and enjoyed a relaxing view before dinner. It is centrally located near lot of activities, cafés, beaches, and more! I would like to also give a special shout out to Stacy at the front desk, who was so kind and greeted us and gave us food recommendations and things...

"Great hotel minutes from Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey. The room was spacious and clean, staff were friendly and helpful, and we were able to make good use of the 24hr tea/coffee facilities and the heated pool. There is also a microwave in the communal area. Parking was plentiful (both at ground level and underground). I would recommend this hotel and would stay again on a return visit to Monterey."

"The property is very clean. The bed was comfortable, however, the pillows were flat and uncomfortable. The breakfast was always well stocked and the breakfast area was clean and well attended to. The doors to the outside have a gap on the bottom that allows light and noise to come into the room. Adding a door seal could really help with that. We ended up having to use a pillow because the light was bright coming into our room. Overall it was a good stay. I would definitely stay here again."

"Breakfast is in a room overlooking the ocean. It is served on beautiful table sittings. Their custard French toast might be the best French toast I've ever had by miles. I go back again just for that!"

"The front desk staff was extremely friendly and made us feel welcomed. This encourages us to visit again. Our room and all facilities including the hot tub were clean and comfortable. Parking near our room was easy. The surrounding residential neighborhood was quiet and appeared to be safe. The beach is a 5-minutes walk from the lodge. "The room was clean, and the staff were very nice. The only issues were that the shower head only had one working setting, the sink faucet had weak water pressure, and housekeeping didn’t replenish the cups in the room one day after cleaning. Overall, still a comfortable stay."
