"Comfortable beds, lots of pillows and towels. Linens clean. Room was quiet even though there was no vacancy that night. Corners of rooms obviously skipped by cleaners. Needs some TLC. Only one accessible plug near the beds. So even though it’s a room meant for 4 people, only one thing could be plugged in. So either my CPAP or my charger, not both. There was no alarm clock either. Breakfast was good with lots of food available but it was busy when we were there around 830am and no place for us...

"Room was clean and affordable. Parking included and location was ideal in relation to the Peace Bridge. It would have been idea except for those who awake early and sit outside their rooms smoking, drinking and laughing as early as 6 am without being contested. Good luck sleeping beyond that point. Makes me wonder if there are long term residents living within the motel. Would have liked to see someone from management serve to limit the noise to the rest of the guests."

"WHAT a discovery! I loved my stay at Canalside -- the room was beautifully updated, but still had those historic squeaky wooden floors that remind everyone to be a little quieter (it worked!). The coffee maker produced great morning joe; the shower got hot almost immediately; the bed linens were soft and the towels were a perfect blend of absorbent and scratchy. "For the price it's ok but you should change the first bed in room 102 we could see an difference between the two bed and the refrigerator make an annoying noise. I would come back anytime but not in the 102 I have stayed 4 nights It's the only complaint I could make"
