"Our trip to Jim Thorpe was spur of the moment, returning from Plymouth, MA. We booked the hotel from the car, literally 3 hours out. Luckily they had a cancelation and we got in to a regular room. It was very nice, clean, a great shower, very comfortable beds, etc. The next morning we decided to try and extend our stay (spur of the moment). "Absolute gem of a property in gorgeous historic building that has been impeccably remodeled ans furnished. Lovely common space and really comfortable and inviting rooms. Bed was very comfortable and linens and shower were of the highest quality. Also nice neighborhood location easily walkable to Tamaqua's restaurants and the great local brewery. I would 100% stay here again."
