Far enough to not be in the hustle and bustle, whilst still having easy travel to all locations and having everything you need nearby (e.g. shopping centre, cinema, restaurants, river views, etc). The pool is heated even though it is outdoors making it a potential year-round pleasure. Kids had an amazing time. Perfect family friendly hotel and location. Definitely plan on making this our destination for future Melbourne travels."

"Very disappointing. Parking very scarce near reception and while searching, many one way alleys had us spending too much time just getting to check in. Then the guy on the counter also seemed to be reservations so we had to wait while he completed a demanding transaction on the phone. Finally got to drive into the car park, way after the 2 minutes allowed on the street-park. The car park door eventually opened after swiping the card many times. At room level, the place looked like a student...

While the room appeared semi-clean, there was noticeable dust throughout, and the kettle was so brown inside it looked like something had been burnt in it. There were several maintenance issues: the main bathroom door wouldn’t close properly unless you lifted it, and it actually came off its hinges once. The ensuite mirror light constantly flickered. The master bedroom had only one small floor-to-ceiling window, with no scenic view as...
