"This lovely hotel has been refurbished. We loved the new pool and the spa looks great. One of our rooms was a junior sweet which was like a nice hotel room but no separate area to sit, just a sofa bed. The other had a four poster bed with separate sleeping area. The latter looked a little stark and needed updating l. I preferred the junior suite it was cosy. Everything was very clean. The restaurant was fabulous, what a great space. There were minor points that let the hotel down but overall I would definitely stay again. "

"The hotel is undergoing renovation work but it didn’t spoil our stay - the staff were so helpful and kind as we were staying to attend a family funeral. We had a lovely room overlooking the canal at a good price which was fortunate for our family as we needed 4 rooms. The hotel is about a Mile out of skipton overlooking the canal and countryside. Breakfast is temporarily being served upstairs while the restaurant is refurbished- it was buffet style and nice and hot and good value . Overall really pleased with our stay 👍😊"

"Lovely hotel and extremely clean. We were in the club house room which is in a separate building from the main hotel. The room was very clean and modern. My only complaint was there were 2 small bottles of water put out for us like most hotels do but they were half full and the seals were broken so were not new. Also they provide fresh milk in a fridge in the reception area which is really nice but the one I had which was well in date was sour so I think the fridge was not cold enough. Also the ice machine was not working. I did mention this to the reception and it was all rectified immediately. Also the hand wash and shower gel bottles in our room were empty but I brought my own so that was fine. I would suggest that housekeeping do a more thorough check on these things in the future as it is little things like this that can let a lovely hotel like this down. We had an evening meal and breakfast and both were delicious and excellent staff. Although we had a few small problems we would definitely stay here again as the standard is very high. "

"I booked this Hotel, Primary for the Spa and Gym, On arrival was told that its all closed due to the refurb, apparently Nobody was Told , even the staff."
