"Really enjoyed our stay at the Glen House Hotel. I booked through a third-party site and check-in was still super easy. The staff was friendly and really helpful. The warm chocolate chip cookies at check-in were such a nice touch! The bed was also surprisingly comfortable - always a win when staying at a hotel. "The room was very clean but there was no single lounge chair in the room, only a desk chair...very difficult for two people to put up with. A hassock under the counter serves no use when it is not accompanied by a chair to sit on. As a New England location, this is the very first hotel that does not carry NESN, the home of the Boston Red Sox. The microwave in room 126 did not work. Your complimentary breakfast is excellent."

"For basic lodging with a pool as your only needed amenity, Moose Lodge is great. We didn't use the pool but it looked to be in great, clean shape. It's great if you're in town for fishing or hunting, etc. Nice to have a kitchen too in our 2-bedroom room. No air conditioning but we had three ceiling fans that worked fine."
