"Lovely hotel in great location with nice restaurant and good breakfast options - recommend"

"Lovely, well equipped, cosy little apartment ideally located for activities on Loch Ness and beautiful walks in a variety of terrain and easy reach of Fort Augustus and Inverness, some right from the doorstep. Lots of nice welcoming touches and the owners responded quickly to request for information. Good shower over the deep bath but it’s a bit slippery and a couple of grab rails and a non slip mat would improve safety for those with mobility issues wanting to immerse themselves in a soothing...

"Nice lodging close to Loch Ness with an on-site restaurant. Rooms are small and somewhat spartan, but the bed was comfortable and the food was good. A hairdryer was provided, but with UK electric codes not permitting outlets in bathrooms, it was difficult to find a location in the bedroom with a view of a mirror to dry my hair. I wish more UK hotels would consider this oversight!"

"Absolutely would recommend this place. Check in information was great and very easy. We were travelling by bike and they let us access the secure bike storage early so we could enjoy the town without worrying about them. The room was spacious and spotless and the shower was brilliant. Hamish from housekeeping was very friendly and kind to our daughter as we were leaving. Breakfast in the cafe downstairs was very nice too. Great view of the canal locks and close to all the amenities of Fort...

"The room was cosy and comfortable, and the made-to-order breakfast was excellent. There was also plenty of parking, which was very convenient. Our only suggestion for the owner would be to send the check-in information, including instructions for accessing the room, a day in advance via Expedia message or email. As international travellers, we had very limited mobile data signal when we arrived and had a little difficulty getting in touch with the owner for check-in. Once we were checked in,...

"First off, this is not a hotel, it's lots of apartments. There are no onsite Highland Club restaurants, room service food or anything like it. The apartments are full on, proper homes with kitchens so bring some food, even if it's just basic stuff. For food shopping and eateries you can walk into the town in a few minutes and get something to eat. The pub (The Lock Inn) was pretty good. There is a restaurant in the grounds of the house which provided food which was edible but you wouldn't...

"A little tricky to check in, but the staff at the cafe next door were able to help us. The room was very cute and comfy! Parking was also convenient for an overnight stay."

"Immersa nel verde, non abbiamo visto personale. Ci sono servizi in condivisione come cucina e salotto. Cosa stranissima per 3 persone danno un solo letto matrimoniale gigante"

"We really enjoyed our stay.It was in great location, area around was really lovely and rooms was great."

"High March is absolutely outstanding! The location is breathtaking, the room is beautifully designed with incredible attention to every detail, the host is warm and welcoming, and the breakfast is exceptional. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"Great location, but busy with all of the cruise tours."

"Easy to get into the cottage and a cute stay! Great helpful information book for everything you might need."

"Unique location, quiet setting, everything needed (grocery, restaurants) nearby."

"The property is well-maintained. The staff were very helpful. We enjoyed authentic Northern Indian cuisine. There are multiple walking paths close by. I wish we had more time to explore."
