I won’t lie, staying here wasn’t our first choice, we actually had reservations at another resort but due to some construction, we had to move hotels & we found Hersher and what a find it was! The owners were so lovely & friendly, the room was very clean & their property was beautiful. Our rental car fell thru to add to our troubles but the owners would drive us to our locations everyday and make sure we had transportation home or at least we knew how to get home safely. They truly went above and beyond what anyone at any hotel has done for us and treated me and my boyfriend like we were family. It’s a little bit out of the way & most times we would have to direct the taxi driver where to go so having a car is highly recommended but that wasn’t their fault, just a really bad mix up on our end. Overall I would recommend it to anyone who wants to To enjoy life outside the city & meet some really nice people!

De ligging is wat afgezonderd, maar wie rust zoekt, vondt het hier. Een airco, een koelkast, een kleine keuken en een stevig bed. Bij een aangename gastheer/vrouw en tegen een aantrekkelijke prijs. Wie eenvoud waardeert, heeft hier een goede deal

My two girlfriends and I stayed here and it was the perfect stay for us. Henry picked us up from the airport and helped us get a car rental after we arrived and even got up extremely early to take us to the airport for our departure. I would stay here again if I ever came back it was the perfect little apartment for our vacation.

geräumiges Appartement in ruhiger Lage

Als wir in Curacao angekommen sind ging leider mein Koffer verloren. Am KLM Schalter gab ich die ganzen Daten an und in welcher Unterkunft wir sind. Wir bezahlten für den Transfer zum Hersher Studios & Apartments 50 Dollar. Die Entfernung war ca.30 Kilometer. Wir wurden sehr herzlich vom Besitzer empfangen. Er meinte dann, hätten wir ihn am Flughafen angerufen, dann hätte er uns kostenlos abgeholt. Wussten wir leider nicht. Gleich am ersten Tag fuhr er uns mit dem Auto zum Supermarkt und zeigte uns die Gegend. Da das Appartement in ruhiger Lage liegt meinte er das es sinnvoll wäre wenn wir ein Auto hätten, zum nächst möglichen Strand waren es so ca 3 Kilometer. Da wir sowieso ein Auto mieten wollten, machte er uns ein super Angebot. Er gab uns ein Mietauto für 2 Wochen was vom Preis der Hammer war 200 Euro für 2 Wochen inklusive Rücktransfer zum Flughafen. Das Auto war ein alter 3 Golf was uns nicht gestört hat da wir es nur zur Fortbewegung nutzten. Und Sie stellten mir Ersatzkleidung zur Verfügung bis mein Koffer kahm. Gott sei dank schon am nächsten Tag, mit einer Expresslieferung. Es ist ein Familiäres Appartement Sie haben immer geschaut das es uns an nichts fehlt. Sehr nett, haben uns sogar zu einem Tagesausflug mitgenommen und uns die Gegend gezeigt. Was nicht selbstverständlich ist. Und uns immer beraten was wir anschauen sollen und worauf wir immer achten sollen. Das war echt spitze. Haben sogar Kuchen und Gebäck zum Essen von Ihnen bekommen.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

I cannot praise Henry and Eileen enough for their warm hospitality. Henry & Eileen was always willing to take us places and offer suggestions about places to visit and things to do! Initially I was unhappy with the location because I wanted to be closer to town and also because I didn't have a car for the first two days! However I soon realized that if you're near the beach then you're not close to town and if you're in town you're not near the beach. There is no getting around it! Plus the public transportation is not very reliable. Hersher apts. is located in a very quiet and safe residential neighborhood that's about ten minutes drive from beaches and twenty minutes drive to Punda. The walkway to the apartments are cool and shady with lots of green palms, fruit trees, and flowers and there is a porch where you can sit and relax. The living area is large and comfortable, with lots of closet space for storage, and cooking amenities. Housekeeping never disturbs you always coming while you're out and doing a very through job. Staying here was a very pleasant experience.
