"This was a very convenient stay for Christchurch area. An easy walk into the centre, close to lovely green spaces. I took the bus from the airport and this hotel was close to a bus stop and also to Christchurch Station for the Kiwi Rail and Tranzalpine Railway. Great having a restaurant onsite and the options for room service were varied and reasonably priced. "

"The room was clean and very large with two queen beds and plenty of space for suitcases. There is a shared kitchen in the lodge building that was small but functional We parked our car but noticed every other space was taken. Perhaps there was another area to park that we did not see. "

"Sadly this is one accomodation that we will not recommend. 2pm check in and the reception was home having lunch. The apartment was run down. Cupboards falling apart in bathroom. The electric blanket only worked on half the bed…it was freezing. Unable to tap and pay when Receptionist finally arrived and the fee was more than what we saw on Wotif. No beach view. The accomodation was down a long driveway. "

"Handy to Woolworths supermarket and Couplands Bakery as well as Northmall(?) and buses. Quieter than expected. Beds comfortable. Instructions for use of hand held shower attachment would be useful. Good to have iron and ironing board in room. "

"Was great place to stay great facilities lots of things to keep kids occupied only downfall I would say mattresses were too hard for our liking and our son we had no sleep but great if you like hard mattress other than that happy with it "

"The unit we stay needs a bit TLC. The fry pan was not non-stick anymore, and the bottom was heavily scratched and uneven, couldn't cook properly. The area under kitchen sink had a strong chemical smell. The staff member left our curtains in the room and lounge area open for some reason after they did cleaning while we were out. I felt uncomfortable with our rooms exposed. Didn’t meet any staff during our stay, they did arranged our key pick-up for our late arrival and notified us by email. It was appreciated. "
