What was not good was the bathroom: we understand that a shared bathroom depends a lot on the other guests, but the grime on the toilet and in the bath tub was days old. "Lovely spacious clean room, with great bath towels and toiletries. The staff are very friendly, easy to chat too and helpful. The Full English breakfast was delicious and My Wife tried Scramble Eggs with Smoked Salmon, which She really enjoyed. Situated ideally for Chester City centre and for us a very pleasant walk to the Zoo. Highly recommended and will be back!!"

"The property is in a mid terrace house in a dilapidated part of town. It is either an attic or loft conversion with creaking wooden floor boards. To access the property, there is a steep and narrow winding stair case . The bathroom is en-suite but there was no working shower .
