"The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was nicely set up, with plenty of light and comfortable seating for reading, knitting or doing a jigsaw puzzle. I am claustrophobic and very much appreciated having a sliding door to the outside and a wonderful long distance view. The breakfast had a lot of good options. The eco-friendly part was interesting. The top of the trash barrel had a hole for "Trash" and one for "Recycling", but there was no divider in the actual barrel, so...

"This Inn was really the highlight of our trip to New England. It was an unexpected gem. I loved how clean and comfortable it was, and it had a very peaceful atmosphere. I loved that they had a complimentary breakfast, though I would have preferred if there were better protein options on the complimentary portion. "Receptionist on arrival was very helpful and friendly. Slight problem that one of the rooms allocated to us hadn’t been cleaned or made up but soon rectified. The rooms had a window facing out onto the walkway serving the other rooms. As such for privacy you invariably closed the curtains but the rooms were rather dark.
