"The location of the hotel was great, lots of stores, restaurants (we loved King's Indian Cuisine) and gas stations in the surrounding area. Also only a 15 to 20 minute drive outside of KC. The room was very clean, the staff was very friendly. We had no problem with parking. The only real issue we had was concerning the jetted tub and the surrounding area. First and foremost the tile on the ground outside of the tub on the faucet side is completely unsealed from the ground and if you step closer to the tub the tile actually lifts up on the other side and you can rock it back and forth. Secondly, the tile stairs leading up to get into the bath look nice and made it easy to get into the tub, but when your feet are wet, even with the railing, getting out is a bit of a precarious situation. And finally, no matter what we did, we could not get the Jets to turn on. We got the control panel on the tub to light up but the only thing that would actually work were the lights inside the tub. We tried explaining it to the staff member on our first night, and while she was super sweet, it did not seem like she was understanding what we were talking about. We addressed it with a different staff member the morning we checked out. They apologized but didn't really offer any compensation for loss of the amenity. Overall it was a good stay, 4/5"
