"Our multiple night stay was excellent! The staff was welcoming and very helpful! If we could, we would give staff member EJ ten stars!! He was awesome! He gave us helpful tips navigating DC, gave us a list of places to eat; was just overall helpful and patient with our questions. The hotel was very clean and pleasant overall. It was a short drive from DC, yet just far enough. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!"

"Overall, the hotel was quite clean, the continental breakfast was satisfactory, and the staff was very friendly. However, there appeared to be an issue with a sewage odor in the bathroom. After showering, a strong smell would develop, which made it necessary to keep the bathroom door closed in order to remain comfortable in the room. If it weren’t for this issue, I would have rated the hotel much higher."

"Bought two rooms one through Expedia and one through the Best Western and it was quite a considerable change in the price. I would love someone to call me back and refund me for the difference that was charged to me versus what they were given through Expedia based on the charges of the hotel, secondly the water was out in the hotel the whole first day and the second and third day the elevators were out and I have 80 year-old parents that were unable to go up for flights of stairs. "Awful service. The room had a bad smell & they did nothing about it saying it’s because the AC hasn’t been running prior to check in. I requested an extra towel and they never brought it to my room. I’m expecting someone to reach out to me about this experience "

"This is a very old property- the room furniture was pretty worn out. The heating system wasn’t working, so they brought in a portable room heater. I’m very glad they did this- but it’s just an example of how worn out things are. The breakfast area was very full, too many people to get to the coffee & food. Tables weren’t cleaned between guests. But the price was fairly low, and the location was convenient for us, so we chose to stay here"
