"There were only two other rooms in use so parking on the street was not a problem but I could see where it would be if they were full. Beautiful historic home, very comfortable with a window unit in each room. Breakfast was okay, truly continental, but no one starved. Staff very friendly and attentive. "

"Location was close to downtown and met our needs. The house was clean and in good shape. Although, I think there were a few fire detectors missing. The dock was there and the detector was not. We didn't get to use the parking spot promised in the back due to concrete repair going on. But there was ample street parking. The fridge did not work when we arrived and the owner sent maintenance the next day to fix it. All in all, we had a great time."

"The hotel is beautiful and located right on the Riverwalk. While Valet is pricey, you can come and go. The two queen corner room was HUGE. Though, my highest compliments to the staff. Every staff member I encountered was kind, professional and very put together. We thoroughly enjoyed our mini spring break getaway. "

"Doable. Not as nice as other Tru by Hilton properties that I stayed at. They over booked and did not have the 2 queen beds we needed. We ended up having to make do with a king size room. The pool area furniture had bird poop all over it. Honesty disappointing. "

"The hotel is in a historic building so the outside is older and the rooms were smaller; however, the comfort and service were as good as it gets. Ivette at the front desk allowed us to check in early, and we were grateful because we had a very early flight. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. "The room was very clean and contrary to what others have written there is no mold at all. The staff was very cordial and welcoming- hats off to Lu. The rooms were actual suites since it included a kitchen with microwave and electric range as well as dishwasher with detergent and a living room as well as bathroom and bedroom. The best of all was that it was a block away from The Alamo. Loved the hotel and the stay was great. Added features were the pool which had a gas grill and daily breakfast....
