"We had a wonderful stay at Wayside Inn. Our host, Joe, was very helpful and was a great chef! Our breakfasts were very good and got us ready for the day ahead. In the bathrooms we have dealt with sagging curtain rods, torn shower curtains, and loose shower handles that will not stay in place. "June 2026 - they are in the midst of a big remodel, so take that into account. Unfortunately, they are missing some of the easy stuff that should be done right away, like putting up signs of which way to go to find your room. The room was fine - nice and clean and good sized. But there was no dresser for storing our clothes during a 4-day stay. The kitchenette was great, with a decent sized fridge that could hold our pizza box. "Clean and well maintaied they do a good job in taking care of an old hotel"

"I was given a handicapped room, which would have been ok generally but - the bathroom floor, with built in drain looked moldy and poorly cared for and the bathroom fan was hanging off the ceiling. But the kicker was that the shower did not get hot - at all. I was able to switch rooms, and I appreciated the staff making the change. But then I was told the entire work out room was “out of order” so that amenity was not available. The new room was adequate, but very dated. I will not stay here...

"The property was filthy the bedding had burn holes on the comforters the sheets had stain on them the toilet would not flush they didn't clean up the trash cans outside it was dirty I want my money back"
