"We recently stayed at the Element Hotel in Wilmington, NC and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is beautiful with a modern design and stylish furnishings that create a clean, comfortable atmosphere. Our room was well-appointed, the bed was very comfortable, and the in-room kitchen was a great feature. Having filtered water available was also a nice bonus. "The hotel was clean, room was quite comfortable. A continental breakfast was included but the food did not taste good at all. I don't think they used real eggs - they tasted fake (watery) and tasteless. The coffee was also awful. They did have fresh apples, muffins, OJ, instant oatmeal and DIY waffles. Convenient location and parking was good unless you were arriving late at night, which, in that case, be prepared to park in another property's lot and walk a distance to the hotel entrance....

"I have traveled quite a bit. Stayed in local hotels/motels and others across the state. While this particular Coastal Inn & Suites is a renovated older Super 8, the staff make up for any of her "scars." The manager, David, amazing personality and very kind and respectful. The staff really do go above and beyond to ensure cleanliness and comfort. After getting in housekeeping for over 7yrs total, I tend to immediately check things others wouldn't think of. "Room was gross. Weird large table in the room clearly being stored in there forsome reason since it was wrapped with a Moving blanket. Shower was gross and would not drain the shower pan filled up and ran over onto the floor which would explain the state of the door. Swolen and gross. Took about 40 min to drain. I had to use almost all my towels for the floor. Towels were thin and cheap. I would like at least 40% of my money back. "
