"Super friendly, helpful staff. Had dinner here twice and the food and service were excellent. Parking right outside the hotel. Great value for money. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED"

"Spotless linen and towels. Breakfast lovely. Staff delightful and so so helpful but suddenly jobless. I was advised it was shutting within 3 days so had to walk to sister hotel 5 minutes away for breakfast. Shared toilet and shower with 2 other rooms. Room very cold at night so cleaner gave me an electric radiator from another room. This property needs a lot of fuel

"Perfect location. Bus stop and train station are close by.
Property run down and in need of repairs. You get what you pay for!
No internet in the rooms only in the pub next door.

"Stayed for 2 nights. 2 adults, 2 children and our dog.
This place is a hidden gem in North Yorkshire. We had the most magical time. The Tree house and hut tub were pre heat for our arrival. "Very nicely situated in a quiet village area 3miles from the town centre. Large car park at the rear and easy access to a bus service outside. Clean pub and rooms of a reasonable quality. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Well priced."

"I didn’t receive the automated email with check in information. But a quick email to the owner & he replied quickly with the code.
I didn’t arrive at the property until the evening (dark out) I think it would be good in the check in information it’s shared where to find the key box.
